(August 20, 2016) Welcome, Appreciation and Farewell

NSA-MSU organized a welcome program for new members, appreciation program to appreciate all the members who were involved in Sports activities throughout summer and also bid farewell to Dr. Raju Pokharel and Purnima Shrestha.

NSA-MSU Organised soccer competition today. Congratulations to the winning team and thanks everyone for making this event a
great success.

(July 25, 2016) Volleyball Competition and Farewell

NSA-MSU Organised volleyball compeition today. Congratulations to the winning team. Along with that a farewell program
was also organised to bid goodbye to the members who are leaving Starkville for further academic and career opportunities.

(July 7, 2016) Table Tennis Competition

NSA-Organised table tennis competition today. Congratulations to Janak Dhakal, Sagar GC and Deepesh Giri for securing first, second and third position.

(April 17, 2016) New Year Celebration

NSA-MSU organised a potluck event to celebrate our Nepali new year.

(April 12, 2016) International Fiesta

NSA-MSU members participated in the annual International Fiesta program orgaised at the Drill Field today. We showcased our
ethinic culture and food among a large international community. We were also able to grab “BEST DESSERT” award in this event.

(March 14, 2015) General Meeting & Election

The 6th annual general meeting of Nepalese Students’ Association at MSU held on March 14, 2015 has been elected NSA-MSU members unanimously to serve in an executive position and represent Nepalese Students’ Association at MSU for the year 2015/16.

(January 17, 2015) Welcome Program & General Meeting

NSA-MSU organized a welcome program to welcome all of our new members to the association. We proudly added 4 new members to our family this time. This program gave us an opportunity to know about our new members and introduce ourselves to them.
NSA-MSU had provided free food to all our new members and existing members of the association
Also, the NSA-MSU General meeting has approved some by-laws to add to  constitution.

(November 21, 2014) Nepali Movie Night

NSA-MSU featured a Nepali movie “The Night Train to Kathmandu” on the occasion of Education week organized by HCDC. HCDC had provided refreshment for all the participants.

(October 22, 2014) Tihar Celebration

NSA-MSU celebrated Tihar with the Deusi-Bhailo program among the community members. Deusi-Bhailo team went to each member’s door with words of prosperity followed by different cultural items.

NSA-MSU was able to collect $307 as a Dakchhana during that program.

(October 05, 2014) Dashain Celebration

NSA-MSU organized a Dashain celebration program on October 05, 2014.  During this celebration we exchanged the words of peace, prosperity, happiness and good health between community members. The program was held on Lowndes Lake, Columbus, MS.

The program was followed by Tika program from the hand of NSA-MSU faculty advisor Dr. Prem Parajuli. All the community members took Tika and blessing from him.

(August 27, 2014) Teej Celebration

NSA-MSU ladies family members organized a Teej celebration program on Wednesday, August 27, 2014.  During this celebration they exchange the words of peace, prosperity, happiness and good health between them.

The program was followed by potluck and NSA-MSU had provided partial support for the great success of the program.

(August 24, 2014) Welcome Program

NSA-MSU organized a welcome program to welcome all of our new members to the association. We proudly added 10 new members to our family this time. This program gave us an opportunity to know about our new members and introduce ourselves to them.

We would like to wish all of them for the good time in Starkville and great success in their career and professional lives ahead.

(July 26, 2014) Farewell Program

NSA-MSU organized a farewell program to all our outgoing members. Our outgoing members Dr. Arun Thapa, Ms. Sabina Rokka and Dr. Ranjit Amgai were in the program; but other two members Mr. Sumam Kandel and Mr. Kamal Lamichhane could not attend the program because of their busy schedule.

The whole NSA-MSU family would like to wish all the best to our outgoing members in their coming endeavors.

(April 12, 2014) Celebration of Nepali New Year 2071 BS

NSA-MSU celebrated Nepali New Year 2071 BS by organizing various programs. There were 47 participants in the program including kinds. The program was included various games, recitation of poems, song, dances, and gajals followed by the exchange of well wishes among the community members. The overall program was grand success.

NSA-MSU had provided free food to all the participants and prizes to the winners of different competitive events.

(April  5, 2014)  International Fiesta 2014

Thank you everyone for visiting our stall in International Fiesta 2014 at Drill Field and encouraging us to do better in future days. Without this support even we could not imagine any success of the program. We also would like to thank all our team members for their contribution to make this program grad success.

(March 29, 2014) General Meeting

The 5th annual general meeting of Nepalese Students’ Association at MSU held on March 29, 2014 has been elected NSA-MSU members unanimously to serve in an executive position and represent Nepalese Students’ Association at MSU for the year 2014/15.

(March 22, 2014) Nepal Night 2014

This year Nepalese Students’ Association (NSA) at Mississippi State University organized the very first Nepal Night on March 22, 2014. This was one of the biggest events organized by NSA with great success.  The program was opened to all the Bulldog family and Starkville community. There were above 300 attendees from the different communities.

The event was filled with Nepali dances, songs, theatrical plays, etc. NSA had provided authentic Nepali cuisine to every one for free. This event helped us showcase our culture, tradition and values to Starkville community and foster the bonding among international communities.
